Warranty Terms and Conditions

 

If your iTV / TV stand (the “Product”) fails due to a defect in material or workmanship under normal and proper use within the warranty period specified below, SIDEK will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the Product. This limited warranty is valid only for the original retail purchaser of the Product and applies only if the Product was legally purchased and used in the European Union. The warranty period is calculated from the date of delivery of the Product to the Customer. Defects in the Product, reported after the warranty period has expired, are not covered by the warranty.

 

WARRANTY PERIOD

WHAT IS COVERED

One (1) year from the date of retail purchase (6 months for batteries).

Components and service (applies to internal/functional parts only).

 

HOW THE SERVICE IS PERFORMED:

 

An original receipt identifying the product and date of purchase is required to obtain warranty service.

Under certain circumstances, you may be asked to provide your credit card information to pay for out-of-warranty service as an upfront shipping deposit or cost for not returning a replacement product. To ensure proper billing and avoid unnecessary charges, you must obtain a return authorization before returning any product to SIDEK. If you receive a replacement product, please use the original carton/packaging from that replacement product to return the defective unit to SIDEK.

 

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Service visits for delivery, pickup, installation, service education, fuse replacement, wiring correction or unauthorized repairs, and removal and reinstallation of the Product for repair.
  •  Damage or defects in the Product caused by improper configuration or adjustment by the user.
  • Damage to or defects in the Product caused by transportation and/or handling, including scratches, dents, chips, and/or other damage to the finish of the Product, unless such damage is caused by defects in materials or workmanship and is reported within one (1) week of delivery. 
  • Damage to or defects in the Product caused by improper current or electrical voltage, power failures, interruptions, or insufficient electrical service, including inappropriate or insufficient AC power.
  • Damage to or defects in the Product resulting from improper installation or operation of the Product not in accordance with the Product owner's manual and/or installation guide.
  • Damage to or defects in the Product caused by accidents, pests and rodents, lightning, wind, fire, flood or other forces of nature.
  • Damage or defects to the Product resulting from misuse, overuse, improper installation/repair/maintenance.
  • Damage to or defects in the Product caused by the use of accessories, parts, cleaning products, or services not supplied or approved by SIDEK.
  • Damage to or defects in the Product caused by unauthorised alterations, modifications, or incorporation into another product or component system, or if used for purposes other than those intended.
  • Damage to or defects in the Product or missing items in any Product sold ‘As Is’, ‘With All Defects’ or similar disclaimer.
  • Products with original serial numbers that have been removed, altered, or cannot be easily identified.  
  • Increased utility costs and additional utility expenses.
  • Replacement of any consumable parts, including batteries for the remote control.

 

 

In addition, violation by the Customer of the Product's security features (seals, warranty stickers, stickers containing the serial number), as well as the performance by the Customer of any modifications to the device or repairs to the device outside of the procedure specified above - shall terminate this guarantee.

 

The cost of repair or replacement in the above-excluded circumstances shall be covered by the original retail purchaser.
